I already have a 3rd party small HF Amplifier, the MX-P50A, that I use with my Yaesu FT-817. I'd like to use this amp with my new IQ32. Will the IQ32 PTT this amplifier without damage to the IQ32? What is the pinout of the IQ32 to the 3.5mm AMP socket/plug (Tip - ring - sleeve). I need the schematic to find this out and do not find it on the HobbyPCB web-site.

Hi Glen,

Here is the info on the AMP jack:

Power Amp connection – 3.5mm, TRS, Tip – Band Data, Ring – PTT, Sleeve – Ground

The PTT and Data signals are driven by a VOT207T opto-coupler the maximum voltage is 70VDC and the maximum current is 50 mA. If you need to drive a relay with this line you'll need to make sure that the relay has a back-EMF diode across the coil.

This information is in the manual which can be downloaded from the IQ32 product page. It's also on the IQ32 page on the RS-HFIQ technical site:
