Not sure where to post this, so here it goes:

Any plans to do up a complete kit, with a enclosure? I don't have ability to do the metal work, and I want something that looks nice in shack as shack is in home office.

Hi Lewis,

We are planning a kit version that covers 160-6M and makes 5W output which would then work with the Hardrock-50 PA for 50W output. This is a great place to ask questions. I may as well give some status:

I tried a Tayloe detector with dual A/D converters like the KX3 uses but running the phasing method I couldn't get the alternate SB rejection where I wanted it. I tried the Weaver method with better results but I'm still not happy. So we'll probably go with a 10.7 MHz 1st IF and a 20 kHz 2nd IF like the DSP-610.

Curtis is looking at a Rasberry Pie controller for a color LCD touch screen to go along with the hard controls.

I'll post more info as I get it.
