Jim,
Have you made any progress on modifying your mainboard for use with the external PA board?
I’ve started making modifications and I was wondering if you could second check my idea before I cut traces. I’ve installed jumpers in place of C122, L21, C128 and put a wire jumper from base to collector of Q11. I installed a 680 ohm in R73 (same as R65), installed C1A in place of C121 (Same as C52) and L2A (Digikey DN42095-ND) in place of T4 primary (T4-1/T4-2). I installed C2A from T4-2 to T4-3 and put a jumper in place of C127. I’m taking the output from the Q10 pre driver at Q8 (installed a 2 pin connector in the Gate and source).
I’ve attached a sketch of the Q10 gate that I am making. This is the view on the bottom of the board. Could you check to see if these changes will work be for I cut the traces?

Thanks
Barry

I'll check this out in the morning, something doesn't seem quite right...

I checked it against the schematic and it looks OK. It's OK to leave the connection from R85 to the gate of Q10 since the 47K really doesn't effect the RF at all I'll update the schematic to reflect this.
