Hello all looking for some input on the driver board as an amp. I am getting ready to build this up and had a question on the filter section. I would like to bypass it so I can use qrp-labs LPF relay filter kit. The question is whats the best way to bypass the filter section on the driver? Can I just use c213 as my drive out to the filter relay kit?

Thanks ahead

Hi David,

You could use C213 as the output from the amplifier and run directly into the external LPF's. But the 'stock' filter on the driver board is a 60MHz LPF with very low loss up to 55MHz so there's no real reason to bypass it and there's a good change that it will reduce VHF harmonics.

Thanks Jim always good to hear from you. I had thought so but didn't want to muck it up.
