I have completed construction on the amplifier pcb with the intention
of foregoing the QSK option. After reconsideration, i did order that option
any how. What level of de-construction is necessary to change over to QSK?

Thanks,

Hi Mike,

There are 4 things you need to do to the non-qsk amp before you add the QSK board.

1. Move W1 from RLY to QSK.
2. Remove RLY-1 which is pretty easy given that you can destroy it in the process.
3. Add the sockets, QSK-A, QSK-B and QSK-C (these are supplied with the QSK kit)
4. Remove RF-IN and RF-OUT headers, they'll need to be installed on the QSK board.

Thanks for your rapid reply, Jim! This kit is extremely well executed!!!
I think it rivals and possibly exceeds Heathkit standards.

I wilt continue towards completing the basic amp, then the atu and then the
QSK . Once again, thank you very much!
