I see in the pics of the amp setup for stand alone operation you have caps on the ptt and dc in....what value and are they needed?

Hi,

Good RF design practice dictates the use of RF bypass caps on all non-RF signals attached to the PCB. The caps bypass in RF energy picked up by the chassis wiring and prevent stray RF from effecting the control system or entering the amplifier via the power. The caps in the picture also provide a convenient way to get signals through the box.
